Kiev forces had attempted to advance in the directions of Donetsk and Krasny Liman without any success, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on July 14.
In a statement, the ministry said that the Russian Yug Group of Forces repelled 16 attacks close to Belogorovka, Zaitsevo, Veseloye, Krasnogorovka, Severnoye, Maryinka and west of Kleshcheevka. The group also targeted gatherings of manpower and equipment near Bogdanovka and Krasnogorovka.
Moreover, two ammunition depots of Ukraine’s 79th Airborne Assault Brigade and the 35th Marine Brigade located near Paraskovievka and Razliv were targeted and destroyed.
Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 280 troops, three armored fighting vehicles, four motor vehicles, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled howitzer, a D-20 towed howitzer and an American-made AN-TPQ-36 counter-battery radar, according to the ministry.
Meanwhile in the Krasny Liman direction, the Russian Tsentr Group of Forces repelled three Ukrainian attacks close to Nevskoye and Grigorovka. In addition, the group targeted Ukrainina units near Nevskoye, Chervonaya Dibrova, and Karmazinovka. The activities of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group were also suppressed in the outskirts of Kuzmino.
The ministry said that 90 troops, a tank, three armored fighting vehicles, three motor vehicles, and two D-30 towed howitzers were destroyed in this direction.
The situation in other directions, according to the statement of the Russian MoD:
In the South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, actions of aviation and artillery of the Vostok Group of Forces have resulted in the neutralization of the AFU manpower and hardware near Priyutnoye, Pyatikhatki (Zaporozhye region), Urozhaynoye and Rovnopol (Donetsk People’s Republic).
The activities of 3 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been suppressed close to Pyatikhatki and Dorozhnyanka (Zaporozhye region).
In addition, 6 ammunition depots of the 23rd, 33rd mechanized, 128th Mountain Assault brigades and the 36th Marine Brigade of the AFU have been destroyed close to Malaya Tokmachka, Malokaterinovka, and Uspenovka (Zaporozhye region).
The enemy losses were up to 210 Ukrainian servicemen, 4 armored fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, 1 U.S.-manufactured M777 artillery system, 2 howitzers: Msta-B and D-20, as well as 1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system.
In the Kupyansk direction, the attacks, launched by Operational-Tactical and Army Aviation, as well as artillery of the Zapad Group of Forces, have resulted in the neutralization of the enemy manpower and hardware close to Timkovka, Novomlynsk, Tabayevka, Olshana (Kharkov region), and Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People’s Republic).
The enemy losses were up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, and 2 D-20 howitzers.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy losses were up to 70 Ukrainian servicemen, 5 motor vehicles, 1 U.S.-manufactured M777 artillery system, 1 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, and 1 D-30 howitzer.
Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralized 89 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 112 areas.
1 fuel depot for military hardware of the 36th Brigade of the AFU Marine Corps has been destroyed near Uspenovka (Zaporozhye region).
In addition, 3 control points of the 22nd, 28th and 65th mechanized brigades of the AFU have been hit close to Predtechino, Alexandro-Shultino (Donetsk People’s Republic), and Orekhov (Zaporozhye region).
Air defense units have intercepted 9 HIMARS and Uragan rocket-propelled projectiles.
In addition, 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed close to Tokarevka (Kharkov region), Volodino (Donetsk People’s Republic), Lyubimovka, Semyonovka (Zaporozhye region), and Dmitrovka (Kherson region).
In total, 455 airplanes, 242 helicopters, 5,009 unmanned aerial vehicles, 426 air defense missile systems, 10,700 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,138 fighting vehicles equipped with MLRS, 5,453 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 11,664 special military motor vehicles have been destroyed during the special military operation.
The Russian MoD also released two videos showing recent strikes by Akatsiya self-propelled 152 mm howitzers against Ukrainian positions and Ka-52 attack helicopters destroying three unidentified armored vehicles of Kiev forces.
Despite sustaining heavy losses, Ukraine will likely launch a new wave of attacks in the upcoming few days as cluster munitions arrive from the U.S. Kiev forces, who are currently stuck kilometers away from the Russian military’s first line of defense, appear to be desperate to make any meaningful gains on the group.
