Tinanggal ng House of Representatives ang confidential at intelligence funds (CIF) ng limang civilian agencies ng gobyerno, kasama ang Office of the Vice President (OVP) at Department of Education (DepEd), sa panukalang national budget para sa 2024.
Kinukwestyon ng ilang mambabatas ang P650-million CIF na hinihingi ng OVP at DepEd para sa 2024. Napuna rin ang P125-million “secret” funds na nakuha ng OVP noong 2022 mula sa contingent fund ng Office of the President at ang kawalan ng transparency sa pagkaubos nito sa huling 11 araw ng taon.
