On April 20, the PMU’s 18th Brigade started a security operation in the western desert of Anbar province against the ISIS elements;
On April 19, the head of Iraq’s electoral commission, Jalil Adnan Khalaf resigned from his position;
On April 18, the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a phone call to Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and discussed bilateral relations.
