Russian artillery destroyed an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Avdiivka sector in the Donetsk People’s Republic region.
The ammunition depot blew up following pinpoints strikes of artillery of the 87th separate rifle regiment of the Russian Armed Forces.
The fighting has continued in the sector of Bakhmut. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, in the Kupyansk direction, Operational-Tactical Aviation of the Zapad (West) Group of Forces employed a Su-35 fighter jet to down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter.
Meanwhile, Russian aircraft carried out 11 strikes on points of concentration of manpower, weapons, and military hardware of the 14th Separate Mechanised Brigade and territorial defence units of the Kyiv regime.
On top of this, Russian Msta-S and Msta-B howitzers carried out strikes on positions of the 122nd Separate Territorial Defence Brigade. Strikes destroyed a control post near Gatishche, two Akatsiya and Gvozdika artillery pieces and one anti-aircraft gun mounted on a truck near Petropavlovka, Pershotravnevoye, and Artemovskoye.
The fierce clashes have been ongoing around and inside Bakhmut. Units of PMC Wagner are pushing further to eliminate the rest of Kyiv’s units hiding in the town. In own turn, the Kyiv regime is trying to launch counter-attacks on the flanks.
