Cavite folks protest reclamation of Manila Bay

Cavite fisherfolk and supporters staged a fluvial protest against the reclamation of Manila Bay along the coastal towns and villages of Cavite on Tuesday, March 14. Led by Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas (PAMALAKAYA), the protesters demanded the immediate halt to the dredging activities in the southern part of Manila. PAMALAKAYA claims around 22 dredging boats are now in operation in the area. – Photos by Bullit Marquez for VERA Files.
