On the night of April 30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the the Russian village of Suzemka in the border Bryansk region. The Governor of the region reported that a civilian house was destroyed and set on fire as a result of the attack.
As a result of the shelling, a family died in the house. On the eve, a woman was celebrating her birthday and welcomed several guests in her house. At night, her house was hit. The second floor of the house and the sauna located nearby were destroyed.
So far, deaths of four civilians have been confirmed. Two more people can be under the debris. Three people survived the attack, including a child. They were hospitalized in Bryansk with injuries of varying severity.
Ukrainian forces continue daily shelling of the Russian border regions. Such attacks have the only goal to terrorise the local civilians and result in no military gains.
