Detained journalist Frenchie Mae Cumpio takes the witness stand today at the Tacloban Regional Trial Court to defend herself from trumped-up charges of illegal possession of firearms and explosives as well as financing terrorism. The president responsible for her arrest and imprisonment for five years is himself in jail for crimes against humanity charges. It is time for those who Rodrigo Duterte persecuted to be freed.
