An impostor Facebook (FB) page named πΝπ°ΝπΝπΝπͺΝπ£Νπ¦Νπ¦Ν π§Νπ’Νπ―Νπ΄ claimed that fast food chain Jollibee is giving away P10,000 and a gift voucher as part of its anniversary celebration. This post is fake.

To claim the supposed prize, the bogus FB page instructs netizens to register to a phishing website within five minutes (officialweb-jollibee-2024.blogspot.com). Specifically, the fake website asks for netizensβ email addresses and phone numbers.Β
Netizens who wrote βHappy Birthdayβ in the comments section received a private message with a link to the bogus phishing website.Β
Posted by FB page πΝπ°ΝπΝπΝπͺΝπ£Νπ¦Νπ¦Ν π§Νπ’Νπ―Νπ΄ on June 27, the fake post garnered a total of 331 comments, 2,178 comments, and 985 shares. It appeared three days after Jollibee reported that 11 million customers were affected by a data breach.
