On May 1, the Russian Ministry of Defense recorded no cases of hostilities and ceasefire violations in the Idlib region in the past 24 hours;
On May 1, Iraq’s Minister of Trade, Atheer Al-Ghurairy came to Damascus to attend the meetings of the 11th session of the Syrian-Iraqi Joint Committee;
On May 1, Foreign Ministers of Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia met in Amman to discuss the normalisation of ties with Syria;
On April 30, two Turkish police officers were killed and seven others were injured by a landmine explosion near Tal Abyad city.
