On May 31, SAA artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in Kansafra;
On May 30, Bassam Sabbagh, Syria’s permanent representative to the UN stated that Syria would not restore ties with the parties occupying Syrian lands;
The US Department of the Treasury imposed new sanctions on two Syrian money service businesses and three individuals under the so-called Caesar Act.
