On May 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense recorded no cases of hostilities and ceasefire violations in the Idlib region in the past 24 hours;
There will be no normalization of relations with the Pro-Assad forces without a political solution in accordance with UN resolutions, according to the European Commission;
US rejects Syria’s readmission into Arab League and stressed that it would not drop its sanctions against Damascus;
On May 8, SAA artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in Ziyara;
On May 8, eight civilians including six children were killed by Jordanian airstrikes in Daraa and Suweida provinces.
