Post-elections, inequality likely to worsen


𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗻The economy will likely keep serving the profits of a few and their wealth's inexorable rise, while millions are left further behind just as in the past administrations.The number of self-rated poor families grew from 11.2 million in 2015 to 15.5 million in April 2025, while the combined wealth of the three richest Filipinos – Manuel Villar, Enrique Razon, and Ramon Ang – grew by 563% from 2015 to 2025.
