As of the morning of June 7, the Kyiv regime’s offensive on Russian positions have lost steam on most of the initial directions.
Despite this, regime forces continue attempts to advance in South Donets and Zaporozhye sectors. The Russian Defense Ministry says that all attacks of Kyiv’s forces have been repelled and the NATO-equipped formations suffered major losses in manpower and equipment.
In particular, the Defense Ministry reported that Russian forces have repelled attacks of the Kyiv regime in South Donetsk direction. Clashes continue in Zaporozhye region with the main hot points near Nesteryanka, Kamenskoye and Novoandreevka.
Report by Press Centre Chief of Vostok Group of Forces
In South Donetsk direction, the forward units of the Vostok Group of Forces, supported by artillery and aviation, inflict fire on the enemy who is trying to conduct active actions. The enemy offensive is successfully contained.
Anti-aircraft gunners of motorised rifle units shoot down an AFU Mi-24 helicopter.
Osa and Tor surface-to-air missile systems shoot down six Furia drones and one Valkyrie drone.
In Zaporozhye direction, howitzer artillery hit strongholds close to Nesteryanka, Kamenskoye and Novoandreevka, destroyed the enemy manpower at a temporary deployment point near Malye Shcherbaki, and AFU personnel at militant positions near Chervonaya Krinitsa.
In the course of counter-battery warfare, an U.S.-manufactured M777 howitzer was uncovered and destroyed by artillery close to Novoandreevka.
Anti-aircraft gunners shoot down an AFU Su-25 aircraft near Energodar.
Tor and Strela-10 surface-to-air missile systems shoot down two Furia and Leleka drones.
The servicemen of the Group show courage and heroism in carrying out combat missions. Sergeant Aleksandr Kolosov, commander of the operations platoon of the self-propelled artillery battery of the motorised rifle brigade of the Group, served as a commander of the artillery crew. During the battle, while under constant enemy fire, the gun crew under the command of Sergeant Kolosov competently destroyed two enemy strongholds, a Polish-manufactured mortar and 15 militants.
In South Donetsk sector, the village of Novodonetsk remains one of the main hot points. On June 6 evening, the Kyiv regime’s forces launched another offensive attempt there. As of now, they have achieved no notable results.
NATO-trained fans of the neo-Nazism are already complaining about the bad situation on the frontline.
In particular, an appeal of Ukrainian soldier from the 37th Brigade of the 505th battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (the NATO-trained “elite”) reveals how the Kyiv regime just used them as cannon fodder around Novodonetsk.
He said that his unit was simply sent to the certain death️. According to him, almost all units that took part in the offensive were destroyed. 60 soldiers died and a lot received injures. Promised air and artillery support did not exist. At the same time, the Russian side employed everything including artillery, battle tanks and aviation.
Expectedly, something went wrong when MSM fairy tales about poorly-equipped and poorly-motivated Russian troops met with the reality.
At the same time, the situation has been developing around the Kakhovska dam, which is a plant of the hydroelectric plant in Kherson Region. On June 6, strikes of the Kyiv regime led to the partial destruction of the dam and the flood in the region.
Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, told the Security Council that Ukraine destroyed the Kakhovka dam in an “unthinkable crime”.
The Russian diplomat recalled US media reports documenting Ukrainian attacks on the Kakhovka dam in December 2022, using US-supplied HIMARS rockets.
“Feeling its total impunity and being encouraged by Western sponsors, the Kiev regime decided to carry out this terrorist plot this time,” Nebenzia said adding that Kyiv had significantly increased the discharge of water from the Dnepropetrovsk hydroelectric power station, leading to even greater flooding downstream, “which indicates that this sabotage was planned in advance.”
The diplomat said that the “terrorist act” was intended to free up Kyiv forces for the “counteroffensive” currently getting bogged down in Zaporozhye. The massive humanitarian damage on the population of Kherson Region is just ignored by Kyiv.
The flood is rendering a dozen towns along the Dnieper River uninhabitable and also reduced water levels in the North Crimea canal, which supplies water to the peninsula.
Kyiv “once again decided to take revenge on the Crimeans for their choice in favor of Russia and leave the population of Crimea without water.”
Nebenzia called the claims by Kyiv, US and EU officials that Russia was responsible for the dam’s destruction a “well-coordinated disinformation campaign”; just another step in coordination with previous allegations that Moscow was behind the shelling of its own people at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant or the destruction of the Nord Stream gas pipelines under the Baltic Sea.
As the Kyiv regime continues its attempts to break through the Russian defense as part of its ongoing ‘counter-offensive’, the scale of propaganda and fake allegations against Russia will grow.
