Ukrainian Air Force Lost Four Aircraft Over The Past Day - Russian MoD

On July 4, the Russian ministry of Defense reported on the destruction of four Ukrainian aircraft over the past day. The Russian military still benefits from its air supremacy over the Ukrainian fronts, while Ukrainian forces have not intercepted a single Russian aircraft since their offensive began a month ago.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft near the village of Grigorovka and a Mi-8 helicopter of the Air Force of Ukraine near the village of Novogrodovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. On the same day, two Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft were shot down by Russian Air Defense forces near the villages of Georgievka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Orekhov in the Zaporozhye region.

Other targets intercepted by Russian air defences over the past day included five HIMARS missiles and 14 Ukrainian UAVs which were shot down near the villages of Ploschanka, Topolevka in the Luhansk People’s Republic; Krynki, Sagi in the Kherson region; Gladkoe, Nesteryanka, Inzhenernoe in the Zaporozhye region.

In total, 449 Ukrainian aircraft, 241 helicopters, 4887 unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the Russian military operations, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
