Ukrainian Attacks In Bakhmut Region Increase Kiev's Losses

While the AFU continue attempts to break through Russian defence on the southern front lines in the Zaporozhie region amid the ongoing counteroffensive, Ukrainian forces also attempt attacks in other regions. 

Over the past day, at least two Ukrainian attacks were repelled on the Bakhmut-Soledar frontlines. Ukrainian tanks are burning not only in the steppes in the Zaporozhie region but also in the Artyomovsk region.

On June 11, Russian forces struck the command post of the 10th airborne assault brigade of the AFU in the area of Rai-Alexandrovka.

Russian military officials reported that over the past day, Russian Tornado-C MLRS struck the accumulation of Ukrainian manpower in the area of Druzhkovka. Russian MLRS also destroyed the temporary deployment point of the 116 brigade of the Territorial defence of the AFU in the area of Kalinovka area, as well as the areas of  accumulation of manpower, weapons and military equipment of the AFU near Elizavetovka.

Over the past day, Russian aircraft destroyed Ukrainian strongholds in the areas of Belogorovka, Krasnoe, Kleshcheyevka, Novgorodskoye.

Artillery destroyed three firing positions of 120 mm mortars in Verkhnekamenskoye and Krasnoye, an ammunition depot near Belaya Gora and an AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station in Avdeevka, according to the Russian MoD officials.

The Ukrainian military is expected to continue attacks in the Bakhmut region in an attempt to distract the Russian militiary from the main direction of Kiev’s offensive on the southern frontlines. As a result, Ukrainian losses are growing.
