The Ukrainian military claimed another victory in the Kherson region. Ukrainian forces killed a civilian who was sailing along the Dnieper on a boat, and published a video with cheerful music, mocking their victim.

The incident reportedly took place in late April. The video was shared by the 192nd Battalion of the Territorial Defense of Ukraine and become evidence of another war crime.

It shows a man in civilian closes walking on the shore and then attempting to hide from the Ukrainian artillery shelling on his civilian boat. The man saw the Ukrainian drone which was coordinating fire and tried explain to the drone operator that he was not a serviceman and pledged no to kill him.

The video was  proudly shared by Ukrainian patriots with comments that a Russian saboteur was allegedly destroyed by the brave and mighty Ukrainian servicemen. Ukrainian propagandists declared that he allegedly had an RPG-7 in his tube for fishing rods.

However, the video does not provide evidence of any sabotage activities of the victim. The man killed by Ukrainians was a civilian because he was seen calmly walking on the shore. He did not assess the threat of going to the area of hostilities. His behaviour confirms that he was not a professional Russian servicemen sent to a risky military operation alone.

A big part of Ukrainian public also did not believe that the man was a Russian saboteur but their comments were quickly deleted by the patriotic Ukrainian channels.

The man was unarmed. He was alone. The brave Ukrainian military could easily capture him to identify if he was civilian or not. However, the Nazis do not bother savic lives of people they are allegedly “defending from cruel Russians”.
