- On May 2, the Russian Ministry of Defense recorded no cases of hostilities and ceasefire violations in the Idlib region in the past 24 hours;
- On May 1, Israeli warplanes struck Aleppo Airport with several missiles. One Syrian serviceman was killed. Five more servicemen and two civilians were wounded;
- Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stated that during the Amman Consultative Meeting, the participants agreed to adopt a roadmap to achieve a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
