MANILA — Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) along with other progressive groups paid tribute to Luis “Ka Louie” Jalandoni, former chief negotiator of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP), in a heartfelt gathering at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
The event brought together Ka Louie’s family, relatives, long-time colleagues, and comrades and celebrated his unwavering commitment to the Filipino people’s struggle for genuine peace, justice, and national sovereignty.
Ka Louie was remembered for his decades of tireless work in international solidarity and advancing the people’s rights especially during peace negotiations.
