Protesters renew call for China to get out of West Philippine Sea


‘China out’ shouts were once again heard in front of the Chinese Consulate in Makati City Aug. 11 as activists condemn the “water-cannoning” by Chinese ships of a Philippine Navy -chartered civilian boats carrying supplies to Marines stationed at BRP Sierra Madre grounded at Ayungin Shoal in West Philippine Sea.

The protesters also made a symbolic “hosing down” of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s portrait.
