The Russian military has inflicted more human and material losses on Kiev forces in different directions within the special operation zone.

The Zapad Group of Forces announced on July 21 that its Su-34 fighter bombers had launched airstrikes against a gathering of Ukraine’s 36th Separate Rifle Battalion near Kolodyazi in the Kupyansk direction.

The artillery of the group also thwarted an attempt to rotate units from the 32nd Separate Mechanized Brigade at the front near Novoselovskoe.

In addition, the artillery shelled the positions of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade and territorial defense units close to Rozovka, Stelmahovka, Sandy and Kotlyarovka.

Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to a platoon of infantry, an American-made M113 armored personnel carrier and an ammunition depot.

In the Dvurechensky direction, the group’s units captured five strongholds and four observation posts near Masyutovka and Sinkovka. Kiev forces lost more than an infantry platoon, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled howitzer and an American-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar. As a result of counter-battery fire close to Tishchkovka, a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer was also destroyed.

Moreover, a Buk air defense system of the group shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 over Kutkovka and a Leleka 100 reconnaissance drone over Liman. A Tor-M2U air defense system also shot down a A1-CM Furia reconnaissance drone over Veliky Vyselok.

Meanwhile, the Russian Yug Group of Forces announced that it had repelled seven attacks by Kiev forces in the directions of Lisichansk, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky. The group’s aviation also destroyed two armored combat vehicles near Kurdyumovka and Kleshchievka.

In addition, Tornado-S heavy multiple rocket launchers of the group targeted a fuel and lubricants warehouse of the 77th Separate Airborne Brigade near Druzhkovka.

During counter-battery fire, the group’s artillery targeted Ukrainian firing positions near Vyemka and Seversk, an armored personnel carrier close to Krasnoye, Polish-made Krab, American-made M019 self-propelled howitzers and a 120 mm mortar near Pervomaisky as well as two Msta-B towed howitzers near Ostrogo and Far in the Maryinsky direction.

The group’s air defenses also shot down four drones in the Lisichansk and Soledaro-Artemovsk directions. Moreover, TOS-1 heavy rocket launch systems of the group targeted a gathering of manpower and equipment close to Maloylinovka.

Meanwhile, new videos that surfaced online showed recent strikes with Lancet loitering munitions against five pieces of equipment of Kiev forces, including two main battle tanks, two howitzers and an infantry fighting vehicle.

Ukraine’s counteroffensive, which began more than six weeks ago, appears to be failing. Despite sustaining heavy human and material losses, Kiev forces have not yet made any meaningful gains on the ground.
