Russian Army Launches More Strikes Against Ukraine After Repelling Another Wave Of Attacks (Videos)

The Russian military had delivered another series of strikes against Ukrainian sites where “terror attacks” with the use of drones were plotted against Russia, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov announced on July 21.

“Last night, Russian forces delivered a new strike by seaborne long-range high-precision weapons against the sites where terrorist acts with the use of attack unmanned aerial vehicles were plotted against the Russian Federation,” the spokesman said.

The goal of the pinpoint strikes was achieved, Lt. Gen. Konashenkov said, adding that “all the designated targets were destroyed.”

The spokesman also reported a new wave of failed attacks by Kiev forces in the directions of Donetsk, Krasny Liman and South Donetsk.

In the Donetsk direction, the Russian Yug Group of Forces repelled nine attacks near Zolotaryovka, Mayorsk, Vesyoloye, Maryinka, Vodyanoye and north of Kleshcheevka. The group’s aviation also targeted gatherings of Kiev forces close to Novomikhailovka, Dyleevka, Belaya Gora and Aleksandro-Shultino.

In addition, two ammunition depots of Ukraine’s 38th Marine Brigade and the 118th Territorial Defence Brigade were destroyed near Razliv and Vyemka.

Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 185 troops, three armored fighting vehicles, four motor vehicles, as well as D-20 and D-30 towed howitzers, according to Let. Gen.Konashenkov.

Meanwhile in the Krasny Liman direction, the Russian Tsentr Group of Forces repelled attacks near Chervonaya Dibrova, Kovalyovka, and Karmazinovka.

In addition, the group targeted several units of Kiev forces close to Nevskoye, Makeevka, Novogorovka, Raigorodka, Yampolovka and Terny. The group also thwarted the activities of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group near Torskoye.

The spokesman said that Kiev forces lost up to 100 troops, a tank, four armored fighting vehicles, seven pickup trucks as well as D-20 and D-30 towed howitzers in this direction.

In the South Donetsk direction, the Russian Vostok Group of Forces targeted gatherings of Makarovka and Levadnoye. A sabotage and reconnaissance group was also eliminated near Priyutnoye.

The situation in other directions, according to the statement of the Russian MoD:

In the Zaporozhye direction, as a result of the actions by units and artillery, an enemy attack has been repelled near Malaya Tokmachka (Zaporozhye region).

In addition, 2 ammunition depots of the 23rd Mechanised Brigade and the 36th Marine Brigade of the AFU have been destroyed close to Uspenovka and Rovnopolye (Zaporozhye region).

The enemy losses were up to 175 Ukrainian servicemen, 3 armored fighting vehicles, 2 motor vehicles, 2 D-20 howitzers, as well as 1 U.S.-manufactured AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar station.

In the Kupyansk direction, as a result of active actions by aviation and artillery by the Zapad Group of Forces, AFU manpower and hardware have been hit close to Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Figolyovka, Kalinovo, Zagoruykovka, Timkovka and Krasnoye Pervoye (Kharkov region).

The activities of 1 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group have been suppressed close to Novosyolovskoye (Lugansk People’s Republic).

1 ammunition depot of the 1st Special Forces Brigade of the AFU has been destroyed near Volchansk (Kharkov region).

The enemy losses were up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, Msta-B and D-20 howitzers, 2 D-30 guns, and 1 U.S.-manufactured AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy losses were up to 35 Ukrainian servicemen, 4 motor vehicles, and 1 U.S.-manufactured AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar station.

1 ammunition depot of the AFU 123th Territorial Defence Brigade has been destroyed near Veletenskoye (Kherson region).

Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralized 102 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 123 areas.

In addition, a fuel depot of the 36th Brigade of the AFU Marine Corps has been destroyed near Rovnopolye (Zaporozhye region).

The command post of the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade of the AFU has been neutralized near Novomikhailovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

Air defense facilities have shot down 6 projectiles launched by HIMARS MLRS.

In addition, Ukrainian 14 unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed close to Zolotaryovka, Krasnorechenskoye, Shipilovka, Svatovo (Lugansk People’s Republic), Artyomovsk, Bakhmutskoye, Mariupol, Klyuchevoye (Donetsk People’s Republic), Gusarka, Chapaevka, Romanovskoye and Malye Shcherbaki (Zaporozhye region).

In total, 456 airplanes, 243 helicopters, 5,154 unmanned aerial vehicles, 426 air defense missile systems, 10,789 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,139 fighting vehicles equipped with MLRS, 5,547 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 11,787 special military motor vehicles have been destroyed during the special military operation.

The Russian MoD also released a video showing a strike on a group of Ukrainian troops and another one showing successful assault on a stronghold of Kiev forces.

Despite sustained heavy losses and failing to make any meaningful gains, Ukraine will not likely halt its counteroffensive any time soon. The Kiev regime will likely order more attacks in order to appease its backers in the West who have provided tens of billions in military aid since the start of the Russian special operation last year.
