Suspected Drone Attack Causes Heavy Fire At Oil Terminal In Sevastopol

A heavy fire was reported at the oil storage facility in the Russian city of Sevastopol on April 29 morning (local time).

According to preliminary information shared by Sevastopol governor Mikhail Razvozhayev, the facility was hit by an unmanned aerial vehicle.

“All security and rescue services are on the scene. The area of the fire is about 1,000 square meters,” Razvozhayev wrote on Telegram. “There is no threat to civilian infrastructure.”

Later, the governor appeared on the scene confirming there were no casualties or injuries. Local authorities reported that at least 60 firefighters, 18 engines, and a fire train were working to tackle the blaze.
