On the fronts of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in the period from April 11 to 12, 2023, there were several significant changes.
In Bakhmut and adjacent areas the following situation is developing. Over 80% of the territory of the city is under the control of the Wagner PMCs. This includes all the administrative centers, plants, factories, as well as the city administration building. Russian fighters control more than half of the territory of the railway station. In the center, Russian forces, having taken control of a group of houses north of the police station, shifted the front line to the railway line.

The Wagner PMC reports that the flanks of the attack on Bakhmut have been handed over to units of the Russian Armed Forces. According to the head of the PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin, the military has everything necessary to organize the defense and conduct attacks if necessary. Zaliznyanskoye, Sacco and Vancetti, Nikolaevka and other settlements, which in previous months were stormed by detachments of “Wagnerites”, are in the area of responsibility of the Defense Ministry.

On the Liman section of the front, Russian forces are fighting positional battles and artillery duels near Makiivka and Zhuravka Balka. Ukrainian formations continue to prepare for a counterattack and pull additional reserves into the area of combat operations.
In the LPR, a fighter of “Aidar”, convicted of participating in a terrorist association, was sentenced to eight years in a colony. According to the investigation, the convict served in the battalion as a gunner in the machine-gun section.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that within 24 hours, a position near Mirolyubovka, Zaporozhye Region, was uncovered and the targeting radar of the AFU S-300 anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed.

In addition, three tanks, two vehicles and a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery unit were destroyed.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that the leak of secret Pentagon documents would not affect Kiev’s military strategy and its plans of a counterattack. He also stated that the Ukrainian command would decide on an offensive “at the last moment.
