On the evening of May 19, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the city of Mariupol. According to preliminary reports, four missiles hit the area of the old airport.

There are no casualties as a result of the attack. Russian specialists were deployed on the spot.

The target of the Ukrainian attack could be some military facilities of the Russian military. The damage is yet to be assessed.

The Ukrainian media traditionally fight better than the Ukrainian military. Immediately after the first reports of the explosions in Mariupol came, the major Ukrainian media UNIAN distributed a fake video claiming new great Ukrainian victories. Ukrainian journalists shared an old video from Bakhmut which showed artillery shelling of Ukrainian positions in the city, and lied that these were recent Ukrainian strikes on Mariupol.

Video of a series of explosions in Mariupol, UNIAN wrote.

Ukrainian forces continued their attempts to struck the region for several hours. Before the explosions thundered on the outskirts of the city, the Russian air defence forces were active in the area.

It should not be excluded that Storm Shadow missiles that were recently supplied by the UK to Ukraine could be used for the attack in Mariupol. The AFU are also massively using these foreign missiles to hit the regions under Russian control. For example, the city of Luhansk which was secured after heavy battles ended on its outskirts. The Ukrainian military could not reach civilians in this city before London provided it with the long-range deadly weapon. As a result, people eho have been suffering from the Ukrainian aggression for nine years are again in danger. LINK

On May 19, UK Defense Minister Wallace proudly reported that the Kiev regime is successfully using the Storm Shadow missiles.

After Mariupol came under Russian control in 2022 and the front lines were straightened far from the city, the Ukrainian military rarely targeted the city. The last Ukrainian strikes in Mariupol were reported in early March 2023. Unable to damage the city by their military means, the Kiev regime coordinated numerous terrorist attacks and assassination attempts which targeted civilians and officials in the city secured by the Russian forces.
