How Ukrainian Army Fled Bakhmut (Videos)

On May 20, units of the Wagner PMC fully captured the territory of the city of Bakhmut. The main events unfolded in the afternoon of May 19. AFU units fled Bakhmut en masse, abandoning their positions. This was despite the fact that the Ukrainian army had some success on the flanks of the Bakhmut grouping of Russians.

All the while the Ukrainian president Zelensky is outside the borders of his warring country. He is traveling comfortably around the World, using NATO airplanes. The Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Zaluzhny, also disappeared from the media, and not only that. Nobody had seen him for more than 10 whole days.

Who now commands the Ukrainian and NATO forces in Eastern Europe?

Apparently, US generals, who had previously done this hiding behind the backs of Ukrainian puppets, have assumed the direct command of the military operations in the region.

This means that the retreat from Bakhmut is probably an overpowering of experienced, already battle-tested units for use in offensives in other parts of the front. We remember a U.S. senator (though already ex-2021) saying that they didn’t care about the Ukrainians and would go to war until the last Ukrainian, if necessary.

In this light, it is interesting to watch how AFU soldiers retreated from Bakhmut. We suggest you to watch a number of videos shot by AFU soldiers.

“Bakhmut’s over there, and we’re moving out.”

“Bakhmut … fucking … Step on the pedal… Let’s just get the fuck out of here.”

They just run away.

Ukrainian military man, driver, – “Saviors of the fucking Russian world. There were our guys here too” (in the burnt-out military equipment).

“All right, evacuation! Fuck, finally, but it was fun.”

The AFU soldiers retreated from multi-story buildings in the western part of Artemivsk. May 20, 2023.

All of these videos are more records of a planned withdrawal than a fleeing.  It should be remembered that in modern Ukraine, criminal prosecution has been declared against anyone who makes videos that can be seen as propaganda in favor of its enemy, i.e., Moscow.

Recently, at least six Ukrainian citizens were prosecuted for publishing online videos of the results of Russian strikes on Kiev, Khmelnitsky, and other cities. Basically, they simply reposted these videos from surveillance cameras.

In the current cases, however, servicemen of the Ukrainian army are publishing videos without hiding their faces. What is this? Is it a hype game, panic fear, simple idiocy, or a planned leak?

Bakhmut was captured. Many hope for compromise in this bloody conflict, hoping that Ukraine is still the actor and not the object of international relations. It is not. Western elites have already cheerfully declared that compromise is impossible. Any tactical truce is only temporary. Whatever the outcome of the conflict, the World will never be the same.
