Rest in power, Prof. Reginald Vallejos, staunch food sovereignty advocate & progressive educator

The People’s Coalition on Food Sovereignty expresses deep condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Prof. Reginald Vallejos, President of the All UP Academic Employees’ Union – Manila and faculty of the University of the Philippines. Prof. Reggy is a Board member of the PCFS Global Secretariat based in the Philippines. Prof. Reggie made his mark as the Spokesperson of the SUKI Network composed of various groups and individuals advocating for and promoting Filipino consumer rights.

We are deeply saddened by the heartbreaking news of Prof. Reggie’s sudden passing. We remember him as a staunch food sovereignty advocate and progressive educator as we worked with him in various local activities and student integration campaigns.

We honor the memory and life of Prof. Reginald Vallejos. Rest in power.
